Got some straight pipes for my 8 , sounds pretty scary.

Unlike the others i haven't sold the OEM muffler , kept it so when this gets too annoying i will switch back. Didnt want to go all the way though cuz then the sound woulda been too much

I noticed a lil bit increase in power on low rpms but on higher rpms its crazy.
The car also lost some weight off its *** , the OEM muffler is really heavy.

Some flames are visible at night.
Will upload video of sound asap.

They aint pretty but who the fudge is gonna take a look under it.

Btw it just rained so alotta mud and cowshit under the car....

Question : any disadvantages by having straights?

Noise and attention from cops are your primary disadvantages

 

Noise and power was the reason for getting em , already encountered cops 3 times since i got them 2 days ago.....told me to be light on the throttle when i drive past em that was all ...no ticket.

 

That's a pretty bad ratio. Seems like a good idea to take them off, no matter how much you like them.

 

Must sound like an unleashed lawn mower.

Did you take rotted out pipes from a junkyard then have a 3 year old tack weld those things? Christ dude ... expect cracking in the near future.

I understand, I am just saying that beware of dry-rot. Long lengths of pipe full of bends are prone to developing leaks, not to mention the welds dont look that great (by "look" im not talking visual, im talking structural).

 

Paimon yes but this was never meant to be on the car for more than approx one month.

 

Your ears will hate you, your brain and lungs will hate you, the cops will hate you, your neighbors will hate you, the environment will hate you, anyone that you have in your car will hate you, etc if you operate the car like that O_O

 

Its not noisy if im light on the pedal
