Finally Found it...

OK if anyones been folowing, I've been running my mouth and complaining for a long time about there being no bumper mounted ram air intake, that would guarantee us smooth flow, (due to the one available through ti-tek for the 350Z ends in a square???) by being a TUBE on the end so you can put a coupler on it... well... I finally found one and ordered it... It is not carbon Fiber but I'm not really gonna worry about that yet, if it's ugly, i've got sand paper and Auto Zone has got Carbon Fiber look-a-like wrap.

But heres the link.

I'll post pics once its in and on the car.

Now that i think of it... Judging by the picture im seeing on the website, it looks like it might be the perfect Plastic mold material to sand, primer and paint... Hmmm... the possibilities...

Ok got in touch with the guy at Cioti today, as it's been close to a week since I placed this order. It turns out, that at some point, he sold so few of these, that when ordered, it did not place an item number or description for him to know what the hell to send out. ok well fixed, he's getting it ready to ship today. great. now, another thing.... it's going to be... clear??? like clear plastic. meaning the company who makes them discontinued them in the black.... aparently its a polyurethane/plastic mold and it can be made clear... i'm not too worried about this as it's going to be painted anyway... but... it just seems strange.... any thoughts?

I've done my own fiberglass work before...

You can just buy a dye and dye the resin & catalyst whatever color you want during the process. In reality it should be too hard for them to make them black.

Clear is no biggie though most resins are clear.

except that this is essentially a pointless mod, maybe even more harm than good

if you don't locate it properly you could either induce excessive intake turbulence or possibly create an anti-ram intake ...

The high pressure area is where the hood meets the windshield

That's definitely a high pressure zone. The highest pressures are generally right around turn signal/hazard light height.
