^ you ve got the 6 mt? rx8?
what about the accelaration with the stock one? on a drag race is gonna de much better than a stock one? max speed? does the 6th gear goes to the red rpm? over than 250 km/h? when you installed the part did you feel the difference?

I don't drag the car (6mt) but it accelerates faster and it is very noticeable on the turns since it now tends to gain speed quicker after the deceleration.
It is the best mod you can do while remaining NA but you really need to find a good tuner since it is a must to perfectly fit\space it with properly built spacers 99% of the times.

We needed to space them in order to fit properly, installing a final gear requires precision. Yes, it is a Fujita Engineering\Feed part.
I now have a problem in my differential but it shouldn't be the final gear and nobody else here in italy had problems after the installation and after several kilometers.

You need to find the perfect size for the spacers since the ring\pinion needs to run smoothly without too much resistance. That's why i tell you to find somebody able to do that, mounting it without adjustments could work but you risk to put too much stress on the parts during the break-in period, with the chance of making it a break-it period :D

You need to adjust the parts "case by case" because every differential is not identical to the others. I needed to process the spacer and the pinion, a friend of mine needed to processt just the spacer, for instance. It differs from case to case.
If you don't have the final gear fit properly you might experience grinding noises or put too much stress to the ring and pinion, risking to grind or break it.
Hope this helps

I bought it from japanparts, fast shipping (5days) after the part was built. With the low dollar you will pay around 550€ for the part shipped + customs if i am right. You also have a discount as an rx8club member, just type RX8DISC in the comment box.

Let me know if you need any other kind of help, i will try to help you in any way =)

you will probably (90%)need a new one, especially if you have a lot of km on your car. I could reuse the gasket but i was pretty lucky.
www.onlinemazdaparts.com sells a gasket kit for the installation, it is perfect for this job!

I'd say definitely not. The FEED is kind of an adapted kit in a sense requiring parts that won't exist in production from Mazda.

I can provide the new 09 Factory ring and pinions for $675 but it will take up to 6 months to get it.

Does anyone know if we can just swap the 2009 gear or the entire differential into an 05? That would be a heck of a lot easier than modifying crap parts from FEED...
