Exoticspeed R1-T exhaust
Old post but I just happened to see your album on the main page.
Sounds awesome, like my HKS single, but quieter I guess.
Like alienRX8 said the fitment should of been alot better for the price of those exhausts.
You can wrap the rubber exhaust hanger with a big enough hose clamp to adjust the height of you exhaust so it won't melt the shrouds. I've seen it done.

Good thread, I just wanted to know how much HP you gain from the exoticspeed you have now? Where did you buy it from and how much did it cost you? Im asking because I was looking at the HKS Legamax but its way too overpriced for the HP gains and not enough sound. But if you could answer my questions it will be appreciated.

no exhaust will give an rx8 22 HP. You may get about 10 from removing the cat, and MAYBE 2-3 more HP from an aftermarket catback. Thats it. This has also been discussed many times over in numerous threads.

Oooo i want exhaust that gives 22hp. I dont care what it sounds like.

I ran it with the AP for about a month, It was retardedly loud, I eventually took it off (AP DR midpipe that is). got lots of looks and the emissions was the most troublesome part here in STL
