I give them an A+ for effort and a 15 foot trophy for wow factor on this kit. But..... I think thats all it is, a magazine and picture *****. It should make 450 plus easy with a fully built renny, but so will a single turbo...lol

I wonder if it's set up like the old factory 7 setup. Have a smaller quick spooling turbo for lower rpm and then a bigger turbo to make power up top......hopefully with less vacuum hoses

hey power to them for trying somthing different, even if from a performance and economy standpoint its worthless. If its just a for show car project than who cares.

I personally would never twin turbo anything without 2 banks of cylinders

Is there any turbo that will flow enough air to keep boost up past 8000 rpm? I have a remote mount system in my 8 and i want to make use of the revs the engine does have. I'm dissapointed that the car is not much faster after being turbo'd because i need to shift at 7500 because boost goes bye bye.

yes, plenty of turbo's. sounds like yours was either a poor choice of turbo, OR was chosen to meet specific goals, airflow at topend not being one of them.

Remote mount...? Custom job, or did you pick it up somewhere?

with your remote mount did you have to get a small oil pump for the return line?

I got the base universal kit, yes there is a oil pump with the kit to pull oil back to the engine from the turbo. Turbo selection yes I guess was poorly selected, I assumed, and so did the shop I got the work done at, that the turbo would be enough as STS rates this turbo good for 380 HP. I have been in the talk with the guys at the shop about the lake of boost up to 9000 rpm. Two solutions, the first is obvious just buy a bigger turbo from STS and put it on. The second is much much more complicated but really adds to the rarity of the system, compound twin turbo. For this set up I would keep the small one a have now and buy a bigger turbo and they would navigate the extra plumbing. It would be a pretty badass set up.

Yes it was as custom set up I chose it over the Greddy kit because it saved me a bit of cash from pretty much the same thing, only one very loud sounding turbo.

Unfortunately today my 8 stopped working, drove fine until i tried flooring it and the car just made a gross bogging noise at 6000 and then my vacuum on my boost guage went to zero as the engine slowly going back ti idle.
