Gutted cat is much quieter than the ap midpipe and no rasp. It was so loud and raspy it sounded terrible almost embarrising imo!! Still has sound just much fuller lower tone... sounds 10x better now

Just what I always said, the gutted cat has a resonator AND a large hollow cavity - sounds great.
