Equipping my RX-8 with Suspension

After getting the longer than average list of power upgrades, I'm going to drop in the Greddy Suspension upgrade and was wondering about anyone ever using one, Axiom in Tacoma said they didn't know much about it when I last talked to them and it'd be great to hear ups or downs, not really intrested in other companies, bit of a Greddy loyalist as far as my RX-8 goes.

Also as a side note does anyone have experience on Fidanza Short shifters? Clutch\Flywheel working out?

i have the type s suspension, able to lower the car quite nicely and still remain firm but comfortable for daily driving
i also purchased the electronic controller, still unsure about how good this is as i seem to have had some problems with it not adjusting all the time and does not like to adjust above the 28th setting

You are pretty local to the Houston club. We have people with several different set ups around here if you want to see the differences.

Honestly I doubt anyone has a Greddy suspension here, I didn't even know they made one.

I have racingbeat springs, koni yellows, and an axial flow short shifter. Come out to a meet or an autocross event and take a run in my car if you want to try it out.

I'm in Tacoma WA right now, wrapping up some bizz. My RX8 04 is pretty heftily modified I found out today, when you can go hill drifting at 75mph and feel "comfortable" with things, that pretty much tells me as the driver there was some serious mods, there is also foam and weld spots under the frame, suggesting alot of frame solidification was done, though I'm not familiar with the stock setup enough to identify exacts yet, she has no aftermarket suspension I can identify. Missing strut tower bar though... And engine cover. Greddy has my back for the strut tower, and I'm thinking of the Mazsport Carbon? Cover, someone makes one and I'll be getting that.

Otherwise I'm just hangin loose here, tweaking the car as it's flooding excessively in this 40 degree weather...

In regards to the controller is it effective at all?

I f'in hate this state, my Foxbody is in the driveway in shambles after a uninsured Focus tore the front end off, totalling my Turbo, intercooler, and few other parts after I snuffed into a fire hydrant...

The RX makes good on avoiding silly people though!

stiffer chassis and softer suspension works out in your favor most of the time

Don't get me wrong, but my Foxbody has never been challenged in it's driveability minus that it does poorly to my personal rigid standards of control in the rain that is solely why I moved to a RX-8 (and namely not the RX-7's). She sits only alittle higher off the ground and is a fairly good race car, just a really sad daily driver type, I mean if I could go 85mph it'd be fine, but the 60mph and lower deals are killing my tuning of the suspension on the Fox. Don't get me wrong I love my Fox, but when it comes to "ratata-duhduhduh" versus "vregghhhh" I'd prefer to catch the 5-0 in my Mazda than the Mustang.

And RX-8 creature comforts are huge plus over just heat and ac and kickass radio...
