Theres already two different diy instructions on doing intakes one is this one keeping the box and adding a filter plus a plexiglass ontop the other is just getting rid of the box and adding a aluminum pipe for a costume air intake

What possessed you to do that? It's been 11 years since anything relevant happened here. For future reference there's literally no point in doing this over using the stock box.
