I don't know why so many people in this thread are talking down the idea - If you check out the HKS single exit, it's simply a straight through packed muffler; how many are talking about how bad that exhaust sounds? I don't think there is much special design for a "rotary muffler" like many are implying, but hey, what do I know...

Im not talking down the idea, nor do i think the exhaust sounds bad. But rotaries do burn at a very high temp and normal packing would melt under that heat. Correct?

I cut out the stock muffler and went with 2.5" split to two Glass pack Cherry Bombs. It has a niece low roar to it and doesn't make a shitty sound at high revs. I will try to post pics and a sound clip.

Sounds like a plan. I ordered 2 cherry bomb extremes last sunday and am going to have 75mm piping from the cat to a Y which then both pipes will be split to 2.5 in. I am now ebating on wether to get an ap dual resonated mid pipe or hve a cstom one made with 2 glasspacks to eliminate any rasp.
