It's a fair question chrism. Example, just yesterday there was yet another question on resetting DSC after disconnecting the battery (at least the indiviudal was aware this caused a need to reset!). I had just answered that last week, taking the time to cut & paste the manual text. So... when I saw it again yesterday I cringed a bit and then didn't bother to respond (someone else did this time).

Search can be daunting for a person new to the forums, so I do cut them some slack. But I agree taht they really should try to help themselves at least a little bit before posting. But then, the lazy will be with us, always.

 

including but not limited to :

"OMFG WILL THE FAN DRAIN MY BATTERY!?"

"I SEE COOLANT ALL THE TIME ! I FILL UP THE BOTTLE BUT I STILL SEEING IT EVERYDAY ! WHY !?"

and on and on and on ...
