More than likely all turbo kits will come with a form of engine magagement. In theory the CZ kit would be compatable with all of them. You would then want to purcashe a kit where the engine managment was an option, and then tune the CZ to work with the turbo/SC kit. Some kits may use Greddy/CZ for their engine management...

Yes, exactly. Only one I know of right now is the soon-to-be-released ATI Procharger/Sunflower Mazda kit.

So in short, you MAY be able to use your CZ unit with Fi, or may not. Worse case scenario, you can sell it for $400-$550 fairly easily.

I think of my 8 in two different planes. The first is without the nitrous and the second, obviously, with it. As it stands(if the G-Tech is anywhere near accurate) I am hitting high 13's rather easily without the nitrous. That pretty much leaves most stock vehicles in the dust, with the exception of the Evo8 and STi, and gives slightly modded versions a good run. Even so, a high13 running RX-8 will get some props because many have heard that the RX-8 is slow. There are some ricers who are going to get hustled out of their money next summer. The nitrous should have me hitting high 12's on street tires and you can figure where I'll stand in the natural order of things, then.

BTW, all of these mods and my car still runs as smooth as it did when it was stock and my girlfriend has no trouble driving it from time to time. Of course, she is afraid to go near the nitrous.

Racing Beat. I have a set of their sways on my car. They are easily 2X as thick as the stock one. The stock ones are puny, I can bend them over my knee.

Can you install the sway bar without the springs? I can't afford to lose .5 - .75 inches in clearance. Can the sway bars be installed easily by one person with little experience or can I get the dealership to do it?

Actually, I advise those on a tight budget or who have trepidations about suspension systems to get the Racing Beat rear swaybar first because it is quite affordable and an easy install that will correct the wheelhop issue. It took me about 20-30 minutes to do mine. Some have expressed concern over whether this throws the handling out of balance. It may a little bit but if you plan on getting the front bar eventually I don't see a big problem with it. I drove mine like that for a couple of weeks and had no issues. The thing I like about the Racing beat stuff is that they are minor, tolerable, improvements over stock that won't destroy the factory ride quality, nor will they break the bank. Yes, the sways can be installed without the springs, but together they make a great set.
