I am getting fuel because the pressure builds up and every time I try to start the cr. When I pull apart the connection, tons of fuel sprays out because of the build-up.

I will check for spark if I can’t start the car after getting fuel to the plugs.

Would it be possible that air was pumped into the fuel rail and that's why it’s blocked?

I don’t wanna take apart the whole upper intake manifold to access the purge solenoid valve if that is not the cause of my problem.

You don't have to take the upper off to get to the solenoid.
Just reach under and unclip the line.
Really, you can't "block" a fuel line. (Unless it is full of solid crud.)
Simply hooking it up wrong will not block it.

Check all the FI fuses for power, make sure you didn't pull your ESS for some reason and then start probing with a meter after you verify spark.

You lost me a little. What the heck is ESS and how do I find out if I didn't pull it.

ESS....eccentric shaft sensor....the cylindrical sensor down by the lower pulleys on the drivers side of the front cover

You would remember undoing it..it's a PIA to get unplugged usually

Ah yes.. I know exactly what that is now. I had to unplug that to de-flood my car last year. That is definitely plugged in.

Did you check the spark with a timing light....that's the easiest way really...don't have to pull plugs or anything.

Check the fuses again as well.....KISS principle means it;s likely spark related

How could it be spark related if I cant even get my plugs wet with fuel?

I will check the fuses right now.

My question is;

Why did you not call me with all this rather than jump on the forum with it. Granted, all the advice is good but it's not as if BHR doesn't avail ourselves to our customers and others, too.

I was faily certain your coils were not the problem so there was no point in wasting your time for my mistake.

be careful jedi... you'll be called a fanboi (not by anyone currently in the thread). Perhaps the title should be changed though...

You played with the spark...now make sure it works KISS...keep it simple stupid principle usually will dictate you look at the system you altered first

As for the "wet" plug thing....they shouldn't get wet trying to start..unless you want it flooded

Check the spark..then check any connections you played with..grounds etc...check all fuses....and then call Charles

Charles...don't take this the wrong way...but this has nothing to do with your customer service...that is impeccable...he just missed us giving him a hard time

I could not flood my engine even if I tried.

This is not a spark problem. It is for sure a fuel problem.

For whatever reason the fuel won’t go any further from the connector in the picture I posted earlier.

Every time I try to start the car the fuel pressure builds up and when I disconnect it the fuel spits everywhere like its blocked. This never happened before I connected them to the wrong ports and tried to start it.

With all due respect, your method of determining that it is NOT a spark problem and IS a fuel problem leaves a bit to be desired.

What was the outcome of the spark test as outlined above?
Have you verified power to the injectors and/or a pulse on cranking?

the one thing you can do is reinstall the oem coils or mazsport coils and see what happens. this would at least rule out that the bhr coils have anything to do with the issue at hand.

if they don't, then it would be advisable to have a mod redo the thread title or delete the thread as it's jumping to conclusions and giving the impression the bhr coils have issues.

That’s probably because my mechanic skills leave a bit to be desired.

I will check to see if I have spark but I will need another pair of hands since I don’t have a timing light. Gotta wait for my gf to come home.

I do still have the oem coils. I will do that right now. That should eliminate many variables.

It sucks that we can’t edit thread titles.

I just finished installing the oem coils and its acting the exact same way so it's safe to say it's not the BHR coils causing the problem.

My hands are too big to reach under the upper intake manifold to disconnect the solenoid so I will be forced to take the manifold apart.

I really doubted it to be the coils.
Now what have you done that you haven't put back together right?
