Is it definitely worth the wait? Please chime in and post your experience.. thanks!

Here's my review with a video clip at the end comparing stock vs cz. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...3&page=2&pp=15
I've recently sent my cz in and definetly felt the loss of power on top of the band, but other than that everything is the same gas mileage and such.

I was one of the lucky guys who received one from the very first batch. From day one Maurice has never been very timely but if he is late there is normally a good reason. He has been constantly testing, tuning, and tweaking the hardware in an attempt to make the most reliable amount of power and keep up with Mazda's changes.
So far I have put on over 10k miles with the CZ and I haven't had any problems. When I returned the unit to be upgraded I felt an immediate difference in power above 6k RPMs. I couldn't wait to reinstall the unit and bring the car back to where it is supposed to be.
As of last week I finally have all of the pieces for Stage 2 (Greddy tuning software, CANscan monitoring software, and Random Tech mid-pipe) and I am looking forward to tweaking the fuel maps to match my car. It's all good! :D

I too have had mine since early on. Definite boost with stage 1.0, then I sent it in to have it upgraded for programmability and to get the latest maps. When this "stage 1.1" came back to me my car had some major stumbles so I lived with it switched off for a couple of weeks while I got the programming kit. I then tinkered with it for about 2 days and wrote my own "custom" map - and have been loving it ever since. It ain't the panacea for everyone and may require some tweaking, but it's definitely worth the money.
