if you want a mustang killer just take it to an autocross track. you will smoke them. mustangs are HORRIBLE on the track. if you want a stoplight king, once again, you bought the wrong car

I park next to a 2006 mustang at work everyday. He has a Paxton super charger on it and will about kill anything a RX8 can toss at it. The car, kit, exhaust and so on add up to about 35k$.

No, they're not. The previous gen SCd Cobras are extremely fast on the track. Granted, it takes a lot of suspension work...but their aftermarket is huge and race solutions are plentiful.
