I've been looking at this site for a couple of months (since I bought my 8) trying to learn what I could, and getting an idea of the people and who really know what their talking about.

Over the next 6-8 months I trying to go from pretty much stock to around 300hp/250tq, and trying to figure out where to start and what order to add mods in has become alittle pain staking. Some things I want to stay away from are nitrous and overly extensive mods (i would prefer not to have to break down my engine/trans; I can take it out though). As far as FI is concerned, I am leaning heavily towards turboing and away from SC. Also, I'm looking for better handling/braking.

I would prefer to keep this as simple as possible (I'm not building a track car,... well except for some weekends), and I will be doing most of the work myself (its what I enjoy). You all know more than me about the car and the products, so let the suggestions fly.

And by the way, if someone knows of a thread that has this info in it already, please just point me in that direction.

 

BHR/MM turbo kit, new exhaust, sway bars, better brake pads.

 

to see those numbers turbo the MM upgrade turbo or Esmeril turbo will get u there...of course with upgraded injectors, ignition etc etc....(and proper tuning) I know mysql had/has MM uprage with like 307HP and ~245TQ I'm sure others are running that with different numbers that will chime in but i know that's what his sig said...

for the Esmeril kit I've seen on here of 414HP just search around and get an idea of different setups the boosted overlords thread started by KANE has everyone on the boards(at least alot of them) that are either Turbo, S/C or Nitrous
