Thumbs up Boost Brothers Header

I bought it on ebay new for 190 shipped.

It looks Amazing. Its just straight stainless w/o polished or coated.

A+...ill install it after I get the rest of my exhaust, expecting my catback this week, then I have someone with a midpipe I hope to get off him soon.

Incase if anyone wanted to know, go with a cheap header like boost brothers, not obx....because, it dosnt matter, as long as its equal length piping, your going to see the same gains as high dolor ones.

^^
It's made from the ExoticSpeed header. I've inspected one before, looks excellent, the factory air tube is there and everything. Ports are of the correct size, and are blended into the pipes like the ExoticSpeed header.

Only thing I didn't like was the the pipes coming together inside of the collector. Also, don't use their gaskets; their header-midpipe gasket was okay (needs some minor trimming) but the header gasket doesn't look too well (try overlaying it on the header, you'll see what I mean) Just use the stock one.

K, will do. Yeah, they did a good job matching the ports with the flange and everything. I was surprized, and the flange is even a lower grade stainless for better flex.

Yeah, I noticed that about the gaskets too, but I'll give you an update on it. Might install it this weekend if my catback comes in.

I still needa get a midpipe, but ill just put that on whenever I get one. Header and catback is fine for the mean time. Thought about getting some new 02 sensors but I decided just to heat up the o2 sensor bung and reusing it.

But anyway, we'll see how everything goes.

tell us hovv the install goes...

does it take the stock heat shield??? it looks so by that extra protrusion...

i have an odd request... can u post a pic of the oem manifold out of the heat shield after ur install?

thanx =)

the header looks great... doesn't look like it matter much going OBX or this one. they both look good...

From my ungodly amounts of using the 'search function'

I've read that the OBX header doesn't have the correct size exhaust ports; and that the center port is actually the size of all 3, being too small. This header (and others) have the correct size.

I agree with Ngo, the quality just does NOT appear to be there. Compare that to my Racing Beat Header and it's night / day

I think they merge the 3 runners a bit too fast. it might hurt power like that, even just by an inch earlier.

and I can tell this thing will be loud as hell.
