does anyone just intall an exhaust, without a racing cat or midpipe? Is it worth just putting an exhaust?

Which exhaust is the most 'rotary' sounding? I want an exhaust that screams on the top end with more of a higher-pitched rotary sound versus the lower, deep sound that is more popular.

depends on which one you're getting though, the stainless steel one looks great, but
i'm not too sure about the cheaper aluminized steel ones, don't they corrode a lot easier vs the full stainless?

I have the stainless steel version, the Mild Steel version supposedly sounds the same and has the same tips as the stainless steel version but instead of being stainless for the cans/piping to prevent rust it has been treated with a special anti-corrosive coating that is why the cans are black instead of a mild steel only look

It is on the more aggressive side of RX8 exhausts. With no cats or resonators it sounds pretty raw. Should be lots of vids on YouTube

Just put on my Generic Japan Exhaust. Actually really surprised. Its sounds nice. Really quiet at idle but real deep tone when normal driving and attention getting when floored.

Don't HATE! Didn't have the money to buy anything over $250. I'm super happy with it right now. Everything fit great too.
