It's not that they won't allow gains. It's the fact that Mazda designed such an efficient intake from the factory. It's just not perfect. Mainly to the eye.

^ yes, that's the one. A number of us have gone with just the RB Duct mated to the stock intake and added a K&N flat filter (VFAD removed of course).
