Can any one comment please ? as well as if this is the wrong place to place this question i am sorry and please tell me where i can post this to get help.

Thank you all in advance .
ur dealership is full of ****.

but at least they replaced the throttle body.

Take the AEM out, and try to reinstall it one more time. Cuz sometimes people who installed it could be a moron and **** something up. it might seem right but still messed up. So take it out, reinstall it. just to make sure the install is good. if you dont know how to do it. find someone (a friend, give him a beer) who knows how to do it. it should not take more than an 2 hours. oh, make sure u clean the filter too.

then buy a can of MAF cleaner (any Electric cleaner will do) , keep the nozzle about 3 inches away from the MAF and spray the crap outa it.

let it sit dry (put it on a stack of old newspaper will dry it fast), install it back. and tell ur dealership that dont blame it on aftermarket parts.

That is pure BS right there .
The stock intake can suck oil into the intake as well . This can be caused by a couple of things :
One being at oil change when oil is pumped in too quickly after an oil change .
Other members have had it happen for other reasons I can't recall just now but suffice to say it is not your AEM intake that causes it .

You need at least one of the stock screens in the intake. No way to use the stock screen w/ your intake. You's can't buy a screen.

If you feel you are SUCKING.............

Then do the bypass mod for the air cleaner. I'm not eve sure you have a port for that.

Take the hose from the oil filler neck that runs into the intake and disconnect. Put a filter on the end of it and a rubber plug on the air intake tube.

No more oil on the MAF sensor.

Read up. All rotories back fire occassionaly at idle.

If it's really bad change the plugs.

You represent yourself as being enrapt in linear thought.
Why you would do this is beyond me since it only minimizes your impact on the narrative.

Why someone would pretend to not get something and then turn right around and say they, in fact, do understand without any demonstrable insight is completely illogical.

But I guess that is your idea of "mysterious". It still dim to everyone else.
Somebody has read a book!

Ok, i've looked all over and cant find anything about the stock intakes on this car! I'm having some serious problems and litterally everyone in Tulsa has basically just told me "I'm sorry, good luck with that" when i tell them what is going on. My car has had the check engine light on for a while now, when i read the codes it tells me that it has something to do with the intake! Symptoms are; when the motor is cold and i get into high RPM's the car completely loses power as far as it feels like i shift way down and am not pushing the gas, it makes kind of a louder noise out of the exhaust when it is warm and i get into higher RPM's, it has problems starting when it has rained a lot and it has been sitting through the rain for a day or more, AND to top it all off last night i was driving down the highway and the car lost power and the check engine light started blinking at me! Can anyone so much as suggest anything???????? It would be great help! I dont know much about the engines but i need the problem fixed and i dont trust my mazda dealer! Prices are too high and they are ridiculous with fixing things!

Unfortunately if there are any other owners i would not know how to get ahold of the right one! Anyone that owns one around here just takes theirs to the dealer! But i'm thinking from doing some research that it may be the seals, which if it is then i'm just gonna get a whole new engine and start working on it myself after i have my baby! Not cheap but I think it will be well worth my time! I would kinda like to pull one of them apart and see what i can do anyway! Maybe i'll try to get one for Christmas... lol! : D

the current search blows...

if you search for intake, you get just about every thread on the board because people put the word intake in their signature, so you get all threads they post in

OK, I removed the two posts that offended someone. Now, why are we trying to help someone that had the problem 9 months ago?

you have oil in your intake that its burning. there's probably blue white smoke behind you when you lose power, clean it, install a catch can, no more problem
