That's a simple question. I believe no company is better than the other. Your car's performance will reflect how much research, time and energy you've put into it.

how about not relying on a brand name, and looking at how the part you want is actually made and functions??

there's a lot of garbage made that has a big name on it.

If I wanted a JDM car, I'd have bought one from there and shipped it here. Actually that makes no sense because Mazda already did that for us. Besides, we drive on the other side of the car and the road here in the U.S. What do we need to stay JDM, right hand drive conversions? You really can't get more JDM than buying a Japanese made car. We'd have to change our emissions controls too. JDM spec is so overrated it is pathetic. Emphasis on the last word.

2 reasons:

Reason #1: They are too damn expensive to get in the U.S.
Reason #2: None of those companies offers anything that is better than what you can get here under a different name! Sorry to disappoint. Name brands mean nothing. Results do.

RE may have been tuning rotaries for decades but so has Racing Beat. They are 30+ years old. What advantage do those guys have that no one else in the world has? Maybe a few more ticks on the geiger counter but that's it.

Why are you sad Hymee? You are a prime example of one of the "results" people. You don't have a big name brand to rely on but I think you'll be one of the best RX-8 tuners out there. You're already on your way. Be happy!

I will name you on top of my list.

I want your IDcaller, your supercharger and any tuning kit for that matter. Oh when a stone fry though the hole and puncture my oil cooler - there will be 2 MazdaSpeed oil coolers that need Hymee Grill protection

Taka, you can be as close to the top of the list as I can fit you! I already got 3 in front of you for the blower. There are already some Scan Tools out there with the Hymee brand on them. And as for the exhaust.... D'oh. What was that brand you got again But, I could put you at the top of the carbon fibre exhaust pod list - there is a vacancy at the top spot!

And one more thing... "When the stone fly" You know - like Flied Lice Hope I don't get called a racist for that one. With some Aussie in you by now you should get a chuckle out of that!

Cheers,
Hymee.
