BBP RAM Air Intake

Hello all, new member here, but have been cruising the forums since picking up my 08 AT GT. After reading reviews, and gathering info, I realize that the RAM air intakes don't actually produce much in the way of performance, but do produce a better sound (IMO) than the stock box, and I have actually noticed a little bit better accelleration (though not much). I took a chance on an off brand called BBP. From everything I can tell, including sound and performance, I'm happy with the purchase. It has a fairly aggressive sound, similar to the K&N (though I don't think quite as loud). It looks decent, and I've had no problems with it. If none of the intakes produce great gains, and all that you're looking for is sound and looks, this is tough to beat for $100 or so. The install instructions and mounting hardware leave some to be desired, but for the price, it's a great mod. And let the flaming begin!

aem/mazdaspeed/RB or bust.

those 3 above increase horsepower, albiet not by much but if you are paying that much $, might as well do something.

Instead of getting that intake you should have tried taking the walls out of the airbox in the stock intake.. it restricts flow anyway and doesnt suck in hot air.

If you were looking for noise... id wire up a recording device to a speaker and have a "woosh" sound on a loop. Or you could buy a k&n,injen, weaponR etc etc etc and suck in hot air as a BONUS!! i mean... uh.

My view isnt shared by everyone so lets see some pictures! I hope its atleast pretty looking.

Do you have a link to it? I can't seem to find the intake that you speak of.

It's an ebay intake with random intake tubing diameter and an undersized filter
