My guess.....$235 plus $12 shipping. $20 shipping to Canada. The small price increase covers the increase in fuel costs since Feb.

Oh, and he has to work to the age old maxim........You snooze, you lose!! You late-comers could have bought in February, there has to be some penalty applied .

Ebay is your friend!!

I found some old Chrysler magazines in my attic. I put them on Ebay thinking I might get $8 each if I was lucky.......one sold for $76!!

All twelve sold for $460!!!

Find some crap at home, take a pic, describe it well, list it in the appropriate area, and Robert is your fathers brother .

the more people the lower the price? How many people do we need to get a good price, i am sure i can convince others to get it since some people out in my area already have it...they gave us a chance to try it out and now we all want one.

has nothing whatsoever to do with what he pays to advertise here and nothing to do with group buy fees. group buy fees are paid by people doing group buys that dont already advertise here. he hasnt even stated a price himself yet.

how many people do you need to get a good price? just one- you can buy it yourself today at the normal price on his site, which is already quite good for such a great product.

Yeah Zoom!

I agree compared to the MS SS, RP's is a steal!
I absolutely love mine and can not live without it now... Many of our local owners want it too.
With that being said... I am a bit torn.
I know in my heart that the shifter is a great price, but offering a discount or GB deal does in fact pull on-the-fencers in and makes the people that know they want one to go ahead and commit a purchase.

It also, though maybe not capturing 100% of the financial gain potential, will allow a quick cash infusion for the AxialFlow SuperCharger!!!

How does the MS SS feel compared to RP's?

I cannot speak on the actual throw or connectivity of the MS vs. RP as I have not drivin a MS SS equipped 8 as of yet... but I can say the MS feels over $100 heavier in the pocket.
Seriously though! RP's SS is a "TOP_NOTCH" product and at over $100 cheaper I bet you would be hard pressed to find what makes the MS worth $100 more except for the name.

I assume a group buy requires one person to gather the cash and recieve the parts. That saves on the S&H and gets the discount. Good for me is the number of sales and the less shipping hastle.
If I'm wrong the Zoom 44 can correct me. BTW Zoom, I am shocked that you don't have one yet.

What does it feel like compared to the MS? The only one who has both is Philodox (might be misspelled) write to him. A hint might be that he now uses mine. The MS one is on the shelf or sold.

So pick someone to handle it while we build some. There are only 3 left right now.

Hey Richard...
I will manage the GB for you if you wish.
PM or email me your details... GB price, terms etc... I will calculate the PayPal fees I will incur and just use a flat rate priority mailing for the final GB price. I will not up-charge or try to make profit. I will update your site with the GB info as well when it is set in motion.
I think it would be best to set a minimum of "PAID" orders before I can commit to take this on. I sure cannot afford to be sitting on a couple thousand dollars worth of shifters... The wife would kick my ***!
I ran the Pettit Radio **** GB https://www.rx8club.com/group-buy-center-85/group-buy-pettit-racings-rx-8-rotor-shaped-radio-knob-80811/ with well over 100 satisfied members, so I hope I would be trusted to manage this one as well. The only difference is I am not willing to pay for all the shifters without money in hand. It seems that about 10-20% of the members never follow through, for whatever reason.
Let me know what you wanna do or maybe Zoom44 wants run this for ya?

Actually, someone needs to arrange the GB with the site here before it begins. Whoever decides to run it can work with me via PMs and email.

Hey Paul....
Sorry man! I had assumed that Richard was an authorized vendor and could run GB's.
At-any-rate, I'd say you and Richard should negotiate the terms, and if he wishes me to manage the GB for him I will under the terms you two worked out!

I don't know if it was to long ago to be valid but I did get an OK from Ryan to do a GB. I'll ask again if I have too, Omicron.

When we get the OK we will find a fish to do it.
