This is an imported item from Japan and as far as I've seen no one has this yet. My guess it that it will be somewhat costly for the amount of power it will yield.

well it's cheaper than the new HKS unit coming out... Seems to be the same type.. And comes from a respectable company that typically knows their stuff.

i Believe it is the hyper exhaust so stainless not titanium..

MSRP is $1300

I have a local shop i've been working with for some time. They showed me the pics from SEMA. They have the tanabe, greddy, and HKS on order. They just have no idea when they will be coming in.

I wholeheartedly disagree with you mental pimp. HKS, GReddy/TRUST, and Tanabe have been doing this for a very long time. They all (including the ones you specified) do much R&D before releasing products.

They all make good products, and "crappy car" is a matter of opinion.

The post was originally to ask if anyone has purchased the Autoexe exhaust.
I want to know its characteristics (sound/weight/performance).

As I am not 15, drive an RX-8, and can bank roll my hobby... The system I purchase will be the one (any of those manufacturers) that can give me the best balance of what I am looking for.

Since HKS, Tanabe, GReddy, and as of yet Racingbeat have not released their products and there is a ton of info on Borla... The thread was specific on Autoexe.

...somewhere, it was hijacked.

Here's a link to a sound file of the AutoExe: http://www.autoexe.co.jp/products/S...FFLER/se-02.mp3 , and here's a thread with sound files for several different exhausts (including the AutoExe): https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=11062 .

However, before you buy the AutoExe, you might want to check out this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=11263

Besides just the AutoExe, I would consider the Borla which a lot of us have gotten (yours truly included) as well as this one: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=14404 which looks like it gives good gains across the power band.

Autoexe Exhaust?

Has anyone tried these before?
They have a nice tip which is not too big, but wondering if anyone has tried them before and it's performance gains?

i thought someone on the boards allready had tried this one? maybe that was the MS one instead,
i dont know how good the performance gains are, but it may be similar to the MS one, which means that it is more asthetically pleasing and nicer sounding than stock, but there wont be much performance gain. it will also have auto exe on the tips :-)
