I recently saw a video on youtube of the Blitz Sonic Intake kit. It look pretty freakin sweet and sounds great. Is it good because I've never heard of it before a couple days ago? If it is, is it even woth the $500? an Intake is the next thing I'm going to buy for my '04 rx8 and I was wondering what is the best one.

no it's not gonna be any good, unless you want your engine to suck up lots of hot air.
i'd stick with AEM or Mazdaspeed. They're cheaper and will actually give you HP gains

 

Best intake is the stock intake. Don't waste your money.

 

buy a flywheel or clutch don't waste it like that

 

$500 could get you most of the way to a midpipe and catback, which will do more for sound and power. Also, they'll do more for the sound (though the MS intake is pretty loud).

 

Actually you are right, $500.00 can get you the TurboXS catback and midpipe I think.
