Question Anyone ever heard anything about these parts?

Hey guys I was just browsing imported innovations website and came across some new items for the Rx8. I noticed they sell a hydraulic brake from a company called K-Sport. Does this make the parking brake become an actual ebrake, which will allow the you to be able to get a full big brake kit and still have the parking brake function for a daily driver? Otherwise, would the only way you could get this to work would be having twin calipers on the rear brakes sort of like Lamborghini has? Also, has anyone heard of this so called "new intake" made by a company named MISHIMOTO? It seems like an exact copy of the Umnitza Simota carbon fiber intake. What about the ARC Induction Box intake? I know it has been around a while, but I can't seem to find enough info or video clips of it. Is the ARC Box even worth the money since none of the intakes will provide much power, if any?

Here is the link to the website. Check it out and you will see all the products I am talking about.

I think the KSport Hydraulic Brake is use mostly for Rally and Drifting. They use a hydraulic hand brake to quickly lock the back wheels in order to slide the car. I think our car has a mechanic hand brake, which doesn't have that "bite." Whether or not it works with a rear bbk idk I dont see why not since it'll be tapped into the brake lines anyways. And I'm not familar with MISHIMOTO products but it does look like the Umnitza Simota intake.

Hey.

Thought this could use a bump, as far as the intake questions.

IMHO, the e-brake is Not Useful for what you are thinking. I've seen these on rally cars. This kit only replaces the handle/cable with hydraulic lines. Whatever system at the rear that is presently used for the parking brake is retained (like the separate inner drums on a Subaru, etc.). On an RX-8 you would have to fabricate an additional set of calipers on the rear discs. I would NEVER tap into a car's main hydraulic braking system for safety reasons (and pedal feel reasons, and ABS/DSC).

Also, most all of these rally e-brakes (obviously) do NOT have a ratchet function to lock the e-brakes on.

hey bro yeah i know a kid with the mishimoto intake. its pretty good really lightweight looks cool cuz its carbon fiber and it kicks pretty descent. and the other intake box the ARC one for the money its not worth it cuz its similar to the stock intake box power wise so dont bother id say go for a short ram airintake like i have or a CAI. if u have any other questions you can PM me
