Please spend some time searching. There is not too many people that have it i believe. There are better exhausts systems out there.

hey Nitrous, welcome to the club.

Please search around a bit and you shall see there are several GREAT exhausts available for the 8. (Magnaflow is NOT a common choice)

you may be **** outta luck, most people want an exhaust that is unbearibly loud and reduces power. Your going against the grain my friend

i have magnaflows, it has a good sound, but im runnning catless so the sound is very deep and loud, and i believe magnaflow doesnt make an exhaust that fits the rx8 right out the box so you will probably have to get a custom made one at a local muffler shop.

I got to hear CRH's sound while he was here in Dallas. It was unbelievable definitely won't forget that, you should check out the Borla and if you want try catless or a supercat in there too.

I have it and love it. The tips look nice and the sound is nice and deep! When you get on it, the sound is just pure sex!

really,

i installed it myself, it says borla on the bottom.. and i dont have the hat, i am jealous of that....

i will expound on the loss of thread control.

top three non ricer sounding exhausts.

borla
racing beat
hymee

but it all depends on what you put between the exhaust manifold and the catback.

but what do i know.

damn you charles. i must look at my exhaust to make sure it is a borla!!

beers

Question.

Just put a Greddy cat back on my RX..

should i pull the battery cable off?
to reset the computer for the new exhaust system

not sure if its worth it..

im kinda spooked over it..because everytime i pulled the cables off my moms grand am the security code wouldnt let me use the radio so i had to call pontiac and wait an hour to get the code..it was very frustrating..

tell me what you think..im pretty sure the mazda dosent have the security on the radio..and not sure if pulling the cable is worth it..because its not a HUGE performance part..give me some feed back

thanks!

Welcome yO!

I have a magnaflow catback on mine and like it for the most part. I wouldn't recommend putting a racepipe on with the magnaflow though... unless you like raspy... It's way raspy for me now, but meh, I'll deal with it. The magnaflow has a nice deep tone to it though.

Well yes and no... I ended up having a bad spark plug/porcelin was falling off and the motor was pretty well flooded. I guess that's what I get for moving the car the night before and shutting it off early. O-well, the car is starting up so so though... it's taking a couple secs for it to fire up... does that make sense?

See I was thinking the same thing... it was litterally falling off in fine grains and then big chucks of it came off when I popped it out. I'm also missing pieces of it. I'll take a picture and send it to you later today when I get home. Hey do you have paypal?
