Purging the nitrous system has nothing to do with manifold backfires. And if you do get a manifold backfire,, the bolts will break off and the UIM will be moved. Or your just going to destroy your throttle body butterfly. Something is gonna give regardless.

My buddy has this manifold, it is a PIA. But they don't make it anymore anyway.

I just want one cause I do not like the plastic look. When I think of an engine I think of metal, not plastic, so that's what I want to see. Idgaf about the gains for this one. You won't really get a lot from intake with a N/A set up....

When I think of this intake I think of metal, I think of weight, heat soak, poor gasket mating surface, lack of proper vacuum ports, lack of a location for the vacuum actuators for the intake valves, lack of a location for the purge solenoid valve, gas tank vent line, etc. etc.

But either way, it is no longer manufactured.
