ok so i just connect the line going from the stock fpr to the stock outlet and take the pump outlet and go to a bulkhead. plain and simple. what about wiring, will i need to run a new power source and relay without the stock pcm? thank you guys so much for helping me with this i have learned alot.

the stock pump set up is a two speed set up--so 2 spots in the fuse box for that--it is triggered by the pcm(about 18k x a sec!) so if you are not using the oem pcm yes --a redoing you must go. painless makes a set up thats ok--get it thru Summit racing
what about the filter --you ok using the oem one?
where did you get submersible lines to hook your fuel pump up to the assembly? Corrugated/ribbed?
what fp are you going to be running 45-50 for that engine?

I would see if the resistances are added together from both sides...you might be able to convert a normal gauge if that's the case. If the PCM does some logic to the 2 signals it will be harder.

I would rewire the new pump with larger wiring...

What are you using for an ECU..use the fuel pump signal to trigger the relay for the pump

I'm glad to see you ditched the A1000 pump. It is the definition of overkill for your setup. I have seen rotaries dyno well over 450rwhp with a single walbro pump, no voltage booster. I've got a single Supra TT pump on my car that easily flowed enough fuel for 21psi after bypassing the stock wiring.

the stock wiring on my car during the high speed mode does deliver over 13 volts
with the pump you have you will deliver plenty of fuel at 50psi--the rx8 engine runs at over 57psi
the oem filter is ok but non cleanable and non changeable. You have to buy the entire fuel pump assembly--inexpensive at around $160. Since you are in an area with clean gas and not running premix --you may be ok with it.
dann--giving good advice here---you go man!
make sure you run SUBMERSIBLE fuel lines on the pump assembly---think Gates is the only one available(at least that I know off)
gas gauge--not a clue--stick a wooden stick in the tank before driving?
Merry Christmas all
