4:77 swap results

Installed a used diff from a 2009 S3
The rear end ratio was changed from 4:44 to 4:77
The following results are based on dyno pulls
The speed at redline in third gear changed from 95 mph to 88 mph
and in 4th gear changed from 132 mph to 122 mph
Seems to come off the line at little better
Nov 5 at Summit Point will be the true test.

You had dyno pulls? Did the HP/TQ results change?

Besides, dyno pulls are a waste of time and money... just some math can lead you to the same results!

I use the dyno for data logging.
Mazda Maniac requires 2nd gear and 3rd gear runs for his calibration service
that I am not comfortable performing on the street.

I used the PTuning dyno which is a Dyno Dynamics dynamometer.
Very conservative dyno
The results were a little less than previous pullls.
The operator said that was to be expected.
175.7 HP & 114.8 ftlbs
