Its got 2 working Rotarys in the trunk. Try blowing this up!

I would rather get an EVO and tune it up if I want to go fast in the track.

I've always like the body style of the Supras and the ability to tune them. I wont lie. The first import car I ever wanted was a Mark IV Supra.. I do agree the 2JZ is a dyno queen though.

funny i should come across this thread tonight as i just finished a road trip. there i was, driving, listening to Dan Fogelberg and watching the gas gauge move, and i questioned for a sec, if i was happy with my car ... just then i pressed the loud pedal a little more, felt the push and heard the hum. yes, i am happy with my 8. there's no substitute for the feel and sound of a rotary. period. i wish i had 100 more horses, but i'm still happy without them.

that said, i would imagine a 2JZ-powered Rx-8 is a formidable machine ... and i would respect and admire it to no end, even though i'd probably never own it.
