Is there anyone here that can recommend a really swell shop that can successfully do performance work on the Rx8?

Preferably somewhere near me, but if it's anyone in GA that's fine.

Mazcare (in Marietta) can do the install and they are attentive to details. Charlie (the owner) is a REALLY good guy.

If that doesn't work, I can consider flying out to do the install for you.

 

That's pretty sweet of you. How much would you charge? Where would you be flying from?

 

Do you drive a blue 8 in the Augusta area? My friends are always calling me to tell me they saw me driving around but I know it isn't me. There has to be another brunette chick with my same car... Would like to find my imposter LOL

 

No m'am! Mine is black with black and red rims. I'm not actually in Augusta, I live an hour away.

 

There arevtwo blue ones on the hill by augusta state university,mine and a doctors. There are two i know of in columbia county.

I would consider anything but the drive there is what holds me back most of the time.

Drive to Atlanta is not bad? We are at road atlanta a good bit --for the entire w/e.
If you like cars it is an experience you will never forget.
Hope to see you there one day. Check out the Ga RX8 club site and pass the word to any other RX8 owners you may know. But, you dont have to have an 8 to come--you just need to enjoy cars.

i just got back from a track day at road atlanta in the rx8. i will be at petit. i race scca formula mazda and spec racer ford as well as some other things. im at rd atl all the time. i got some good go pro footage of the rx 8 from a few weeks ago. im going to cmp in kershaw to do a track day in sep. i might have some StopTech brakes on her by then

i have tried to join the ga rx8 club forum 3 times but it says the "admin" has to approve my membership and he never does.
