everytime i'm in orlando, and on univ. i never see any other rx8s... my uncle lives like 5 min from UCF (not even) and i never see any SAD DAY!

 

That sucks! well there's a crap load of 8's here. Next time you come down let us know b4 and we'll meet up with you.

 

I'm around there and I have a bit of a hawkeye for other 8's...I'll be sure and give you a wave if I see any of you guys around...(I have the only black 8 I've seen in the area)

 

I always wave to other 8's. Most drivers just look at me like I'm crazy.

Do you hang around 436 & I-4? I see a black 8 racing around that area usually around

4:30-5:00pm during the week.

 

I think I've seen this car. Filthy! I've also seen a Silver 8 on 436 further south of there that looks as though it has black rims. When I passed it yesterday I realized the rims were black because they were really dirty. I don't think their part of the club.

 

I saw another black RX-8 on 528 and I slowed down to wave at the guy and he would not acknowledge me.

 

none of these punks are on here...

or else they'd know we hate other 8's not in showroom clean condition or really hate not getting waved back at!

 

I have a grey and drive on University Blvd. I wasn't there at 1 on Feb 22 though. And my car is fairly clean. I did see another clean grey this morning at 8 going east about 5 cars in front of me. It was zipping around. It went right on Alafaya and then turned left into the school before I could catch up. I had to go straight.

Nah, I'm rarely more than 5 or so miles away from UCF...I think the last time I was near I4 was when I first brought my 8 up here at the beginning of the year...Speaking of getting on I4, I'm heading up to the Auto Show in Motion on Saturday, March 5th at 9am. It's a GM event where they let you drive a bunch of their cars (Corvettes, GTOs and CTS-Vs included) and compare them to competetor's vehicles. It's totally free and they even provide lunch, so anyone who likes driving should head on out there - I'll keep an eye out for some other 8's. (maybe make a mini-meet out of it?)

Also, I did see a titanium 8 that I haven't seen around before tonight. Their tag was "pwned", looked like they kept their 8 about as clean as any of the others I've seen around here, so I doubt it was that dirty one from University. You on the boards pwned?

 

I was behind a grey rx-8 yesturday on the turnpike and 408, a blonde lady driving and I waved and she did nothing. Also at work I see another grey on 17-92 everyday at 3:00 ish. I see 1 more parked at a building by morse and 17-92 it is a black one.

Are these anyone on this board?

Ah, so judging by that pic, I'm guessing you live with that STi that was parked by you in my complex last night? I was going to park next to you guys, but I didn't want the sprinklers to ruin my paint, so I parked across the street by the clubhouse wall. If your car was dirty last night, the ti gray hides it really well - it looked spotless.

Also, if you don't mind, could you send me a PM about what neighborhood you're in and what kind of rent you're paying? We're looking for a house for next semester and a place like that looks like it would work pretty well as long as rent isn't too bad. Thanks - I'll (try and) see ya around.

mcaul, how you doing? So you finally posted.

I haven't been back to Mazda since we met there. Been doing all my own. I will be going back for the N flash and see if I can beat them up about the battery. I've been driving around with jumper cables after a veery slow start a couple weeks back in the cold we had.

 

I will be going to the Auto Show in Motion on Saturday as well. I'll look out for you.

My car is OK too. I went back once for an oil change, and its due again now. And I washed it today about 5PM after the rain stopped. (The weather is pretty weird tonight.) Anyway, I don't want to get caught tomorrow on UCF Boulevard in a dirty grey eight.
