Fort DeSoto Beach Cruise with GM!
Date: Sunday, June 13, 2010
Time: 11:00am - 9:30pm
Location: Fort Desoto beach and Sand Key
Description
This is straight from my GM correspondant:
Head out at 11am June 13, 2010
Drive south on 75 and back up over the Sunshine Skyway to Fort Desoto.
Lunch and beach at Fort Desoto
Continue driving north along the beach to Jon’s pass.
Stop at Gators on the pass have a snack
Continue driving north to Sand Key – Clearwater
Final stop in Sand Key for a drink or special event/contest.
Finish and drive back around 4-5pm.
We would also like to incorporate a contest with the winning team receiving tickets to some type of event (TBD- Sporting event, concert, etc... it should be good). We can make it a raffle which can be drawn at the final spot.
We will provide the driving tolls, arrange parking and parking fees, lunch and mid-day snack at Gators pass.
THAT'S RIGHT!! GM will sponsor free food, etc. as of now, we may have to have a cap of around 30 people that will be provided food,etc. all others will just have to roll out.
details are still being ironed out, but sign up quick!

I would totally be down to go out to the USF meets. Sounds fun.
Whats this about chilis? AEG is no more or just dullin out with all those hondas crowdin up the space? lol
I freaking havent been on here forever, but have set it as my homepage instead of facebook. I realized theres still alot to to learn going through the forums, so this is home again for me. I'm going to hopefully install LED's into my fender grills next week. Mmmmm ^_^

Also, who's the guard at MacDill I spoke with a couple times? I drive the black 8 that came through the gate 490 times Saturday.

Beach Cruise Meet point
We are all meeting up at the Collins Parking garage, same location as car meets we host bi-weekly. If that still doesn't help we meet at the top floor(5th floor) of the parking garage just North of the USF Tampa campus Library.
The Library is the current, soon to be surpassed, tallest building on campus. Easiest way to get to it is take the main entrance into USF from Fowler Avenue. You'll take the main road in all the way down, the parking garage should be on your right after you pass the Library.

Okay guys, here is a little more information about the beach cruise this Sunday, June 13th!
PLEASE BE AT THE TOP OF THE COLLINS (Library) GARAGE AT 10:20 AM SHARP!!!! WE WILL LEAVE PROMPTLY AT 11AM, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
- GM is providing us 6 cars (I will keep the cars a surprise!--a variety)...and there will be seats for 31 people!!!
- I have already provided a list of confirmed people, and if you are riding in a GM vehicle, then you must sign a waiver
- the 6 drivers must be over 21!
- the 31 people in the GM cars will be provided with toll money, the route to get there, lunch at fort desoto, a snack on the way to Sand Key, and loads of FUNNNNNN
- if you want to drive in your own car, you will NOT be provided with toll money, but you are more than welcome to drive your own car if you'd like!
- I cannot guarantee that extra people will be provided food,etc., but guests are still more than welcome to join and have some beach/cruising fun!!
- There will be a contest for each group (each car is a group), but I will let the GM rep give you all of that information when we meet up at the parking garage!!
- YES, there will be PRIZES!!!
Everything else is pretty much straight forward--Just get to the Parking Garage ON TIME (10:20 am), and go with the flow!!
Let us all have fun. Please be appreciative and courteous to GM because they are driving all the way up from Miami just for us!!!

One day, one day...
Man, I can't catch a break. I would go, if I wasn't traveling. Sounds like a ton of fun. I will be in town the first weekend in July and the 3rd weekend in July. Then its off to Alaska for a bit. I hope I can role with you guys in July at some point again. It was fun the first time!
yeah... I heard it wasnt the best of meets. We got some good ones coming up though, DuPont is this Saturday, and then the following weekend is the Ultra car show... I am down for both.

Yeah it was really unusual it was more of GM gives USF Car meets 5 cars and food @ FT Desoto I was expecting more of a caravan type atmosphere but that didn't happen either, but we took a cruise to Ft Desoto played around the Fort, stopped at the Winghouse and ultimately had a good day.
