What kind of job are you looking for? I see you have some training in electronics from the navy.

 

i am not sure what i'm looking for yet. really i just want something i will enjoy more than being in the Navy with decent pay. i was a Nuclear Electronics Technician for 10 years, so i have experience with nuclear power plant operations and microprocessor based system maintenance. i also have specific training in Fiber Optics and process controller systems.

 

If your good at fiber optics you may wanna try Verizon. The pay for fiber techs is really good and benefits I'm told are above par. I know its not nuclear electronics but I'm not familiar with that profession being a boom in mid state.

I'm meeting with a couple of rotor heads this Saturday 7 August at Parkside Mall, at the end of the Target parking lot across from the Gamestop and T-mobile store by 7:45PM and we will roll out by 8PM.

i cant believe i missed the run, but i made sure i gave props to the car earlier
there were a few nice runs. a N/A FC ran a 12.7 and a turbo FC ran a 8.11

 

Haven't been hanging out recently but where are the meets these days? I have heard mixed things.

i will be there the beginning of September. my 8 has been dead for a while now. i'll be towing it down i think. i will have to either work on it myself or take it to a shop down there. i can still come out for a meet in my truck.

update on the job search* i've started working with a job recruiter. i will try to interview on the week of Sep 6. i'll be looking for places to live while i'm there too. can't wait to get out of VA.
