Sway and Strut bars??

I was just wondering which sway and strut bars should I get. I was leaning towards the Greddy strut bars just to make it look good with the turbo kit and everything, but I'd like to have one of those front strut braces that connects to the firewall. Anyone know where they sell them for a descent price? As far as sways go, I'm looking at the Racing Beat or Tanabe. Any preference as to which ones are better? Also I'd like your opinions on other brands too.

this is one of the ones I have seen that has the strut brace to the firewall. I read a review of the greddy somewhere, and it was a little in the flimsy side. Just meant to look good. I will see if i can find it, it may have been on the forum.

Funny you mention the autoexe brand. I've been try to get this machinest I know to try and copy the under braces that they make. He said it wouldnt be that hard and would only cost a couple hundred. Far less than the $600+ they want for theirs. I really do like that design of the bars though, Let me know if you find a place that sells them for a descent price.

If I were you I wouldn't waste the money on the strut brace that attaches to the firewall. Push on the top edge of your firewall. It flexes like crazy. It isn't a load bearing structure and really can't offer much bracing for the strut towers. I personally think the mazdaspeed braces are the best option. They look good (front brace is carbon fiber), and the front bar has a brake master cylinder brace, to keep the master cylinder from flexing out under heavy braking.

As for sway bars, I have the racing beat set, and I have no complaints.

What about CP racing's triangle strut brace? www.cpracing.ca
It looks neat and functional. Oh does anyone know where I can buy the autoexe braces and bars for a good price?

Oh yeah what is this "2003 Mazda RX8 Rear Lower Tie bar"

you can't go wrong with either the RB or Tanabe sway bars (I prefer Tanabe )

As for the strut bar, spend the money on the Mazdaspeed bar. The bar has a built in bracket that supports the brake master cylinder. There is severe flex here under threshold braking. This bracket helps with pedal feel. It is also the same bar used by Speedsource (for the same reasons).

Good God Nooooooooo!!! Nightmare to get, let alone install. It lasted about three weeks on my car. I have the MazdaSpeed Unit now. MUCH better built unit.
