That sucks. Are you going to send it to Mazda to get it replaced or are you going to rebuild it yourself?

Quick question. Any of you in the Miami area willing and able to check out a Miata in person for me? I am on the verge of buying it anyway, and flying down in 2 weeks to drive it back home, but thought I would ask here. A 3rd party opinion from someone in the community would be very valuable.

and yes, the fins are an utter disappointment ...

 

not so sure its the engine anymore starting to believe i have an electrical issue but if it is the engine i know for a fact i wont have a problem i know the service dept manager at the dealer and he said he would hook it up

 

also if anyone is interested my boy is sellng a cosmo engine for 1500

I wish I had that kinda hook up...I am at 93K miles and I have low compression. Sounds like an AA meeting for high mileage rotaries...My name is Chris and I have low compression...LMAO!!!

I havent had the chance to take it to Mazda yet but I will within the next month or so. I hope they warranty the motor. If not I may do something somewhat stupid/crazy.

I honestly don't know what I am going to do...If Mazda covers the engine I may keep it and go on the cheap side and just add a super charger or I may sell the motor and trans and well do something crazy depending on my funds.

Maybe I'll talk to Angel...he might be able to lead me in the right direction. Either way I am keeping the car itself...Hence my restoration signature below...
