Rolex 24 @ Daytona Speedway
Hey guys, I'll be attending the Rolex 24 over at Daytona Speedway January 26-29, just wondering if any of you guys would like to grab some infield passes and spend a few days drinkin beers and watching the races. So far, I've got at least 3 people, probably about 5 - we may even have a trailer as well, but that decision is out of my hands. Lets get a list started and make for an awesome gathering of rotary enthusiasts!
Also, as an added incentive, I've been talking to MSR20, who is going to be running an RX8 in the 24 and he's trying to set up some sort of hospitality for us. So if we drum up some interest, we could get VIP treatment!
Hope to see you all there!

I think we're going to miss Thursday all together, get a hotel for Friday night then camp out Saturday since it's a 24 hour race. Can't be missing any of that race

Hey, I just had dad check up on a few local hotel rooms and LOTS of them are sold out. I think we were able to find a Comfort Inn that's 11 miles away from the speedway and a Quality Inn that seems to be 5 miles away.
Just thought I'd throw that out there. Anyone know how old you need to be to get a hotel room?

hi guys - I just saw this thread. I will be there, probaby both days. One of my customers is racing and his company has a sponsorship tent. I expect that he will be getting me the infield passes as well as the admission.
Should probably trade cells # by PM so that we can meet up.

Damn, I woul love to go and watch Tony Stewart, Rusty Wallace and Danica Patrick flying around the track in those cool looking Crawford Pontiac's, but I will be moving into my house that weekend. Drink a beer for me and have fun, that is one of the best things to do this time of year, I have gone many times and always have a blast. I think there are going to be a couple of RX8 in the race this year as well, I checked Grand Am and they have 2 8 listed.
