We will be having a "do over" on the January 22 Drive-In. We'll be meeting at the Char Grill on Strickland Road, near the Six Forks intersection at 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 29th.

We'll be discussing the upcoming Deals Gap Rotary event in April, determining who is interested in driving down to Clinton for a meet up with the down east rotary crowd and maybe doing some bowling nights with the RX8 side of the rotary community. We'll also be talking about going to a drag track after everyone gets their rotaries all muscled up and ready to roll again and anything else that y'all want to see done this year. Come one, come all, if you drive a rotary or are a future rotary owner then you should be there at the Raleigh Rotary Drive-In on Saturday.

 

hey bert, i thought we were going to do this alittle earlier since it gets dark so soon. 3;00 would be better for the guys comming out of town .if we keep it at 5 i dont get home until midnight .let me know if this is possible .

 

I agree, I'd love to do them in the afternoons. In fact when the Drive-Ins were started last May they were scheduled for 2:00 PM. I'll run it by everyone and see what they say for the winter months at least. I know during the summer we had guys working on Saturdays and they couldn't make the Drive-Ins until after 5:00. If it would help you out I'll see how early we can have a meet.
