Chris was behind me on that section. I don't think he has any trouble through the twisties but we both felt we ran faster than the last time we were out together. We both had plenty of ***-out action on hard corner exits. I would love to see some chase cam footage even if I have to turn my monitor upside down to watch it.

I am not surprised, I got both of them as soon as they were posted.

Is anyone up for a trip up to the mountians Saturday the 23rd? I actually have the day open, and am planning on getting up there. Should be fun, I have not gotten up there with the 8 yet.

I think it is safe to say that the Georgia group is a VERY active group and a damn fine one at that.

I have much more footage of the mountain run but it needs editing as there are lots of spots where Chris and I are stuck behind traffic. Don't worry. I am unlikely to spend the time to do it. I think I have established the fact that we have some kick *** roads and the RX8 can carve the **** out of them.

I'm being punished for something...

Last time, instead of carving up the roads with Nabil and Chris, I was in Columbia, SC (and getting ticket for 79 in a 70 ). Now this weekend I have to work.

Oh well, such is life. I will have to catch the next one.

Have fun!!!

Still upside DOWN

But Nabil is too for school in the Vid's. I've been out of town alot, but burnt a DVD for the plane. Dam we do look fast, lot's of sound effects for the OME setup that I still run. Great run Nabil, I just caught your Vid. Only one thing, I beep more on my Vid :p
I do feel better after watching your Vid (remember me checking pressures after that run )

See you at the track for sure. Let's watch the weather for the wekend!

I will work on the vid this week, I go to Toronto tomorrow. Nabil you will love it, even if your monitor has to be upsidedown

I want to see it! Heck upside down or sideways - it's all good. Beeping a lot huh? I needed to work on my heel/toe shifting with my new racing shoes so I was taking all opportunities to run through the gears. I had one long beep where I took her to red and kept her there until it was hard on the brakes for the corner about 6 min in. Then it was hard on the gas and steppin' the *** end out a bit. God the RX8 felt like she was dancing with me that day. DSC off is the best way to fly. All I can say is "Good Times!"

Provided the weather holds out, I am making a run up to the mountians this weekend. If there is interest, we can meet up somehwere similar to where people have met before. I think the McDonalds on 400. I may not be able to keep up with Nabil, but I would like to go anyway.

I'm in for Sunday, finally. :D Wouldn't object to leaving early enough for breakfast. I'm not going to push my car like Chris and Nabil. Those guys are on the edge and I'm still not over my crash. So, who's in for Sunday?

Sunday I should be able to do. Saturday is definitely out as I have to work, but I don't think that we will need to carry over this conversion into Sunday. I'll know for sure by Saturday afternoon.

Weather

My Honey-Do list is growing, after spending both Sat-Sun at the track last weekend. But Sun looks best on the weather channel. I'm sure the RX-8 is great in the rain, but I would know, BabyGirl only gets wet while there is soap in the bucket :o

I'm headed to Phoenix Monday early as well. That's why I want to get an early start on Sunday if the weather holds up. Not really interested in a wet drive. So, my intent is to head up around 7:00 AM, have breakfast somewhere, Dahlonega maybe, drive the mountains and be back home by 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Is anyone interested in this schedule (If no rain)?

Yea, sounds like a plan to me. I believe my flight is around 8:40. I'll PM you with my cell phone so we can get together if I'm there in time.
