.........pretty wild the last picture, that us in a Katrina cloud. Then life changed and gas cost $4.89 just a couple of days later. What did we pay that day....mad at $2.60 in the mountians!

Hey there fellow 8's. Im a new 8 owner. Live in Alpharetta and constantly commuting up to Dahlonega for school. I have yet to see another 8 owner up there. Where are yall meeting next time for a ride out?

We just got back from a long road trip. This weekend we will all be at Road Atlanta.

You can check that thread for all of the details....but all of us will be there, I think, less ValPac, who will be NASCAR'ing.

Saturday was great, Val and had a blast driving and eats in Helen. The place was packek for the Octoberfest. But meeting early it the best.

Made a good mountain run yesterday, 250 miles in all. Went our usual route, then added some. Went to Helen too.

It was great weather, not much traffic at all, no bicycles, and no cops flashing the blue lights at me this time. Too bad it was a Thursday, cant usually do that. I will post a couple pics up from the day later.

 

Oh, that sounds like fun. Taking a day off from work and riding up in the mountains would be a blast during the week. Great idea!

 

well, i had a friend visiting from out of town, and he has not driven in the GA mountains, in a long time. So that was the plan for the day. It was fun, I am not used to there not being any bicylces. it was much better that way.

Was it you that I saw on Thusday afternoon on 400 going north?

 

Oh and like right after that I saw someone driving a a brown RV with 8 in tow right behind whoever i saw going north on the ol 400. I know road atlanta is going on this weekend but that was in the other direction, and then i thought Rockingham, but why 400? Anyway thought maybe something else was going on up in my neck of the woods that i dint know about.

 

depends on what time it was. If you waived at another Ti, then it was me. My friend in the car asked if I wave at all of them, cause we had just seen a yellow going south. And of course, did the wave.

 

I take 400 back and fourth everyday (reverse commute from Midtown to Roswell). I see a Ti going either the opposite way or cruising around on Woodstock road. Is that either of you 2?

 

not me. I go up 400 a lot, but not a daily thing.

 

i make the 400 commute everyday also. roswell to perimeter. i used to see a ti 8 in the evenings a lot, but i don't see it much any more.

 

Went to Lake Burton last weekend, through Helen. Fun time.....no Bikes!

 

just slow-*** minivans and trout awaiting butter!

 

Finally got the pictures from my buddy that went with me. Only a couple, but it was a nice day up there, the leaves were turning, and there was no traffic. which was nice. Once I am healed after surgery, I will be dying to get back up there.

 

Hey L8, I may be wrong, but it looks like you slid sideways into that parking spot in the first pic!

 

it does look like that, there was plenty of sliding that day, but not in that particular incident. Just made for easier leaving.

and I NEVER go near Hamilton mill, I heard there are some crazy people there.

 

and that is how you got your name, we would expect nothing less. I too want to hit the track again soon. Has NASA released the '06 schedule yet?

sounds like it was a nice calm drive, i just wish i could drive, poor car has not moved in a week. still not unloaded from the autox on the 30th.
