Have fun at the race. I am a firefighter and normally work as a pit fireman each day of event. However, this year I can't make it. Sucks for me. There nothing like standing on pit road when the cars come in.

How about gator-aid? I drink tons of water and would love to have something else non-carbonated occasionally.
Choose what you like or add to the list:
- Gator-aid
- sandwiches
- Cookies
- Chips or other crunchy munchies
- Watermelon
- Sodas
- Beer
Other things to bring:
- Lounge chair
- Camera/video camera
- Ear plugs or head set with a radio (broadcasted race)
- Sun screen
- Hat/Cap
- Rain Gear optional (I bring an umbrella and raingear top)
Oh, we haven't discussed the GA RX-8 Club shirts and caps? If anyone wants one we >may< have time to get them made up, I don't know. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll find out. Some of us already have one but you new guys may not know about them. If your interested, read this thread:

I have a shitload of gatorade that I can bring, that would be perfect. I've read that thread about the shirts before and figured it was just to late. If we could get a few (I'm pretty sure Gimlet would like one as well) that would be awesome!

If you want to take it to him you can get the embroidery for only $6 or $6.50 (cannot remember). Your in Lilburn, so if you don't mind driving to Lawrenceville on Monday you can get by really cheep by using a shirt you already have or purchase cheep. If you want me to take care of it I'll just stop by Kohl's on monday and pick up some shirts to take over to him and get done... actually I think I'm going to do that anyway cause I'm sure some others will want one.

are any of you intersted in meeting up somewhere early Saturday morning, and doing the caravan from there. I know wht05rx8 lives near me, and Nabil has to go by somewhere to get to 85. It was just a thought, so that we could all try to park near each other. I doubt they will have a spot saved just for us

we can get grub at the Chick-fil-A there at Barnwell, across from Taco MAc and the Brewsters.
I will go up 85N, maybe get off at 985, not sure which is faster. I wanted to be there by 8:30 Saturday morning. But I am sure I will be up really early...anticipation!

I'm there for Jimmy Carter and 85 around 7:30 ish. Is there a Jimmy Carter Blvd. exit? Where abouts at the intersection do you have in mind (this is prob good for Starkey too, although I can't speak for him)?
