ok-- a suggestion.
Those coming from Atlanta area and those coming from elsewhere. Savannah is about 2 hrs away from Macon(at least). If yall are leaving Atlanta area around 3 then lets meet up at the Colisium exit on I-16 in Macon at about 4-430pm. We can refuel up--grab a snack whatever. Several differant gas stations and eateries(fast food) about 2 miles from that point. And it's like the 2nd exit after the i-75 - I-16 junction. Or would everyone like to meet up before i 75/16 junction?
Dang sure hope the weather stays this nice!

I'll look for the red and grey streaks, then punch it. Since I'm the only stock car, I'll need to have a head start though, and let you guys catch up.

We're making a name for ourselves. I've been thinking about bringing a canopy to have our stuff under. Would that help? I don't know how hot it's going to be.

We need to make sure we coordinate shirts for the two days. That way, we can be even more intimidating (or dorky) to the rest of the people there.

This means that we will all need to purchase the small pink RX-8 club tank top that Nabil will be wearing....

Pink's okay as long as we don't have to wear the checkered thong as well.

Ok, on to some business. To better keep me in the seat at Roebling, I am going to purchase the CG lock. For more info:

http://www.apexperformance.net

If you are going to Roebling and want me to add one for you pm me. I will be placing the order tomorrow by noon. $39.00 and looks like shipping is free here! Takers?

Instead of that, you can get those brass clips for like $2.99. They work the same way. I'll have one of those. They do work very well, and that will do the same thing. I think they have them at most automotive stores. You may want to take a look at that before spending $40.

After the first night, the guy in the bed next to mine at the camper was mumbling in his sleep something about apexes and trail-braking. I think the day was a bit too much for him.

Update on Evo....

I have had her to two different shops.

The good news......Mods going on:
Carbon strut tower brace rear, lightweight battery, new air intake, Hawk pads, 25MM front sway bar, and underbracing for engine. Other good news, the guy who sold me the Evo, now the service manager, is going to warranty tranny work, so they are going to install a new Carbon clutch for free, so I will have some bite. (What is funny is he still does this, and there are pictures of me in my car ON-TRACK at speed hanging over his desk, yet, he still fixes everything.)

The bad news......I can't run more than 18psi at the track, because the BOV is toast, and I don't want to replace it when I am getting a new turbo this winter. I need it to last for a few more events.

Last, I will offer some a trade, 5 laps in the Evo for 5 laps in the RX8, at 75%.

I'll take you up on that!

I'll be happy to, especially if you have the Azenis sports. I'll have some R compounds on.

Cool, done deal.

I emailed Julie to find out whether I will be instructing or a student. Frankly, I don't care either way, I just want track time. I will also be down on Friday working with Seat-time, so I should have the opportunity to destroy the last of my Azenis after these 3 days. Then again, I have said that after every event, and now after 3 days at CMP 1 day at Roebling and 2 days at RA, they are starting to look worn.

Depending on when I can get down there, or up there in my case, I'll try to stop by the track on Friday. I'm more than likely going to take the day off, and if they let me in the track, I'll stop by and say hello.
