http://www.nasaforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=4788What a GREAT weekend! It was great taging along for the ride with you guys. This was definately a gathering of kindered souls. My hat is off to you for having the determination, the nerve and the drive (pun intended) to venture into those corners and stretches at breakneck speeds. That takes a load of concentration and ya'll did a super job. Looking forward to doing it again someday.
Before heading back south, I spent Monday morning at MicroCenter giving my "lightening struck" eMac its last rights after the tech correnor signed the death certificate for my insurance claim. The light at the end of the tunnel is that I am now posting with a sporty new iMac G5 :D wooohoooo!
Working on it.....

This is the one with the 82 mph entry to turn 1 at the very end! Also, you can hear Mr. Hill's Borla when he's in front of my at the end.

Take a look at the loading of the suspension, which I believe is on Turn 1. Having the Racing Beat Suspension Package, I normally can put 3 fingers above the tires. I'd say there is a good 3+" of difference there.
This pic was taken Sunday, as I switched instructors with Pam. He was VERY animated, as demonstrated in the pic.
Awesome awesome time. Learned a ton about the capabilities of my car. I still have lots to learn.

Thanks a lot! My instructor taught me a hell of a lot of stuff. He was great! I'm talking to everyone at work about it. My IT racing friend here is the only one who knows the turns though. The other people just sit and listen while we go on about the course.
I still smile when I think about it.

Yeah, I wanted to catch that vette really bad. The wipers happened twice, I couldn't help it.

The instructor was great. I'd definitely recommend him to any 8 driver for next time. We got along really well and he was a hell of a teacher.
I still dream about my turn 1 experience with a smile on my face. I was at work today in a meeting and a smile came over me when I was daydreaming about the track. People were giving me wierd looks.
Guys, I'm working my *** off trying to get these images organized. Don't want the excitement to fade before I get them posted. I have SO MANY to wade through. I finally decided to just put them in categories based on turns, straights, paddocks, esses, etc. I think I need Robert back up here helping me. I'll try to post a few more before too long just cause I can’t wait.

You got 2 more Phlash. Session 2 and 3 from the first day. Same folder. They are big files again, so if you want me to make shorter clips, I can.
I'm chasing Nabil most of the way through session 2. When I screw up a turn, he gains on me, when I get one right, i get closer. We're both very close racers!!!
