I don't know yet. I was thinking of the reusable vinyl. What is a good source for numbers again?

Charles,
14? I guess that a good arguement concerning the apex seals being strong enough !, He has to be running a stand along ecu with that setup I'm sure. I also wonder what he did about the ejectors also. To many timing issues even with the cooler. This engine does have the potental. Like you said he will test that drivetrain..
Yep magnetic for me lets be sure to park neg-neg side!
Anyone got the N flash yet. I just talked to Charles at Mazdacare and he has. He thinks it may have made it better. Said it was hard to explain.
My mazda speed front brace will be waiting ofr me at mazcare Yey new part!
later

Tried solotime 3 times today at various times during the day to order magnetic 10 inch numbers and got an answering machine every time. Busted out the Grassroots Motorsports magazine and went with www.aakracing.com for ordering the magnetic numbers.

It is my understanding that there are some custom-built parts in that 14 psi turbo kit but it is using the E-Man to control timing. I asked J. Abrams about controlling the ignition timing with the E-Man since I want to use 8 psi and a 100 shot and he told me that the E-Man will control the ignition system. Other details I cannot divulge because I am not quite sure what they are. He has promised to keep me posted, though. Things are looking pretty grim for my own turbo installation by the time I get to Atlanta. One thing I don't like about enthusiast industries like music and motorsports is the lack of dependability on part of some comapnies. When their slackers get around to responding to my desires to spend money I may have a kit on the way.

I am considering tanking this "sponsorship" deal and just buying my stuff outright.

Ordered a ChaseCam Ultra (two triple cups) and will be purchasing a digital video camera that I hope I can talk someone into pointing at the display while using another camera looking forward. I got this one because of the extra cups for security. Hope NASA will approve it. Anyone ever use one of these? I think my brother will be coming up from Waycross so I may let him shoot with the new video camer as well so we should be well covered around the track if he does make it.

Charles,
Even with my cz unit, timing and a/f's can be changed. Have to get the software, canscan unit and laptop to do it. Lots of time and work in those custom settings. But it does equal results. These dang fly by wire cars.
Yea tank that sponsorship and sent it my way!
Glad you wont have the turbo. You wouldnt be able to get everyone out of it!
Well my magnectic number source bombed out. They wanted $70! Errrrrr no thank you I'll use colored tape!
Anyone know the price of the race gas at RA?
Oh yea My MS stut bar will be waiting at Mazcare!
no one with the n flash yet?

I'll be happy to put another camera in the car. I'll have one looking forward between the two seats already.

hey don't mount them on the right side of the car...since if that's the side you get waved by in passing areas, they get ripped off when I fly by

Just joking before I get mobbed at the Scottish Inn.

Just ordered my numbers. I am getting the reusable vinyl. The lady at solotime said you need to tape the leading edge of the magnetic numbers to keep them from flying off. I can't have all that extra weight slowing me down. Numbers and tape - sheesh. I need to try to keep from getting my doors blown off by Tim.

OMG... I'm still waiting for it to come in. I was supposed to have had it Monday but somehow it just didn't get shipped from Jacksonville. The dealer told me Allied is scheduled to deliver it tomorrow night, they will prep it on Friday and I can drive it out sometime after lunch. I am going freaking nuts! This has been the longest 4 months of my life.

I bet! The good news is that the ordeal is finally coming to an end and you get the cool 2005 key.

On another thread in the SE forum we are talking about a run up to Blairsville one of these coming weekends. That would give you some quality bonding time with the new baby...

Just over 2 weeks to go. I am getting so excited. I ordered some ATE brake fluid and a brake bleeder kit yesterday from apexperformance.net. Hopefully my limited mechanical talents will not get in my way of this task. The lady who took my order is a racer as is her husband. She was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I have an oil change scheduled for first thing tomorrow morning with Mazcare and am looking forward to a possible run up to the mountains on Sunday with a few other RX8s. I need to drive!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check out the thread "places in ATL" in this forum.
It has been a busy week at the office and I seriously need to blow off some steam and reconnect with my baby.

She's in my drive! I put 80 miles on her tonight. It's really hard to keep it below 4K RPM. I have my smile back now. :D

When I purchased my first 8 in May of 04, I didn't pay a lot of attention to break-in procedures. I never had any problems but then, I only had her for 6000 miles.
