The Alabama Region SCCA is having a one day track event at Barber on December 1st for only $250. You will get tons of track time in a quality run event. Convertibles are even allowed if they meet certain requirements. So don't go christmas shopping, go track you car!

Here's a direct link to registraton:

http://www.dlbracing.com/clubs/pdx/p...x?EventID=2751

to download all the information about the event before registering go to http://dlbracing.com and look for Dec 1 on the calendar. There's only 60 slots avaible so hurry on up! Instructors drive for free.
If I can score a co-drive, I could go instruct for that day. I'll be working in Huntsville that week, so I could stay for the weekend. Can't bring my car, though. I'll help you to offset costs. Interested, SPICcmnGT?

TA,
When you talk to him (not sure who he is) see if you can clear up the convertible thing. The rules seem kinda nebulous. At least to me. Not sure even I can go, but am curious.

Well I'll be honest with you I wouldn't run in this if I wasn't on the BOD and felt like I should. My tires are gone, may not make it all day, and I really want to work on getting my car ready for NASA next year.

And for those with questions got to www.alscca.org or www.alscca.org/forums and ask questions. I think there is already a thread on the convertable issues.

Understandable. I've spread the word to some other friends, but I don't think anyone is biting...
