Nov 3, 4 - Barber with Audi Club - tentative
They want to charge instructors $150 so unless that changes I will say no thanks. 2 students is a lot of work and a free ride is not asking too much.
Nov 17, 18 - Barber with PBOC

Hey guys,
My buddy started this site, www.MyTrackSchedule.com.
You can add an event if its not already on there and then sign up saying that you're going. Then, you can see who ELSE is going, as well! It also includes information about all the tracks and clubs. The best thing is that its all expandable if there's a new event, group, or track, the users can add it!
He also made an RX8Club group, so you can look at the track schedules for the individual people and the group. He made me the admin, so I guess I'll be approving all additions. Here's the linkey: http://www.MyTrackSchedule.com/?UG=RX8
I think you'll find this very easy to use and really helpful in keeping your OWN track schedule straight, as well as keeping track of others and meeting up with fellow RX-8'ers!
Let me know if you have any questions

Can I get some fellow track hos to accompany me to Barber in November? Think of it as a season nightcap. You can go into the offseason knowing you got lucky one last time before you had to put away your mojo for the winter. I think they even have single day registrations available. Solo students get 2 hours of track time each day. Others get a total of 3.5 hours + classroom. Total cost is $400. Instructors, well you know the deal with that...

If you want to instruct, send an email to this person with your qualifications. (Phlash, Lego, KurtBob, TA2).

I am looking it at.
It is not cheap, and not sure the Miata is gonna pass Roll Bar inspection. But I am looking. Price looks good for instructors, but not so much for DE.

I'm often in Huntsville, AL, nearby, but I don't ever have my car down there (nor can I get it down there). I instruct with BMWCCA, PCA, and Chin, so they should let me instruct with them. I've driven Barber, too. Seriously, I'll pitch in for brakes/tires, if anyone is interested in sharing their car. PM me.

In my confirmation email, the event organizers state they still need some instructors. Registration is $30 and you get plenty of track time at one of the south's finest race tracks. It features swoopy curves and lots of elevation changes. Phlash, Lego, Torqueaholic - come on out to wrap the season up in style!
Registration is here.

I know most of y'all are a long way off and are done for the year but here is a one day event at Barbers, I'm pretty sure they need instructors.
Copied from emails:
The Alabama Region SCCA is having a one day track event at Barber on December 1st for only $250. You will get tons of track time in a quality run event. Convertibles are even allowed if they meet certain requirements. So don't go christmas shopping, go track you car!
Here's a direct link to registraton:
http://www.dlbracing.com/clubs/pdx/p...x?EventID=2751
to download all the information about the event before registering go to http://dlbracing.com and look for Dec 1 on the calendar. There's only 60 slots avaible so hurry on up! Instructors drive for free.
