I'm up for it! But it keeps raining every single time we want to plan something down here! I was thinking of maybe getting together for some chili's or meeting up at a pub near the area.

I think if we get 4-5 members just to go for the first event should be fine. We all need to start somewhere, right? The next thing would be the promotion of it. I am sure there are a lot of RX8 owners who don't even know about this website. I am going to start making some cards and place them on the windshield of the RX8's to see if we can get something going on for future events (been seeing more 8's around lately).
I should be traveling to Brazil and should be back in two weeks, but let me know if you want to meet up sometime after and plan something out.

you seem to be very smart.. But it won't be the first time that a get together like this gets moved a couple of times before they end up desiding where its actually going to be. And guess what, been to 3 alread and nobody shows. So thats why I rather specify. Sorry for any inconvinience on your side..

Maybe meet up on a Friday night or Saturday afternoon/night. I don't really mind driving far either. We should just pick a spot that we can all agree on to meet up then cruise to the real spot. I also think we should exchange phone numbers (through PMs of course) for future events. I wouldn't mind meeting up at the Chili's in Doral or some place farther, what do you guys think?

I think the Chili's idea that was attempted last time was a good location. There's ample amount of parking towards the back where we can meet and greet. Plus, 2 for 1 drinks can't be beat.
