Exclamation March Track Event at VIR

Two Day High-Speed Driver's Education Track Events

A chance to drive on a world class racetrack, Virginia International Raceway (VIR), voted as one of the top six road courses in America.

VIR's North course features an incredible uphill series of esses followed by a downhill 130' spiral elevation drop that will get

attention of all participants. Literally a "roller-coaster" race track and a great prelude for the Grand Course in June.

MazdaDriverS.com events feature:
-- Two-day High-Speed Drivers Education (Saturday & Sunday)
-- Drive your own vehicle at speed in a safe controlled environment
-- High-Caliber Instructors assigned to students for on-course sessions
-- Run groups and Classroom sessions tailored to experience levels
-- Eight ~25 minutes sessions for the weekend
-- Event organizers, Chief and Classroom instructor and most instructors are Mazda owners
-- Many students qualify for solo driving after demonstrating basic safety skills and appropriate on-course behavior

Registration is open for the March event; visit www.MazdaDriverS.com for details and online application. Thanks for your consideration. Dave Nugent

Aerial photograph of the North and Full courses at Virginia International Raceway. The new Grand course connectors were added after this photograph was taken.

VIR is literally a roller coaster road course, hard to see looking from the top down but the change in elevation is over 130' with a significant number of turns. More photos and videos at www.MazdaDriverS.com

MazdaDrivers is a great group and VIR is an incredible track. I've been to several of their events and there are always a ton of cool cars- mostly Mazdas but a little bit of everything. If you're a novice, you start with an instructor, and this is a very safe event- you drive at your own comfort level. Warning: Once you do this, you will be ADDICTED.

This looks like a lot of fun, some of the Georgia guys have been wanting to do VIR, I may have to look into doing the dates in June, since RoadAtlanta is the weekend just before the March date, and I don't think I can do two events in two weeks.

I'm stoked! Gotta be there. It sure seems like a small group of Virginia drivers planning to be there though. Maybe we don't know what a nice track we have in our own backyard?

Anyone from Central Va? Roanoke, C'ville....?
