Talking Greddy Turbo Kit, and what other accesories??

Im going to be ordering a Greddy Bolt On turbo Kit for my 8, just wondering what other accesories for it that are neccesary?? I know like an exhaust thinking about the Turbo XS without the race pipe dont like that sound, Greddy Boost controller and Gauges(not sure what type of gauges though i know i would need a boost guage not sure of others), Greddy Type R or RS Blow off valve not sure which is better?? This is what Im thinkin i need extra, if there is anything I am missing Please let me know, Im going to be ordering very soon.

Based on newness and your use of “Greddy Turbo & Bolt On” in the same sentence you really need to spend the time and read the many threads on this item. Exhaust should be on the bottom of your list when it comes to this. First off can you do both the install on tuning of this turbo? Owning this turbo requires you to become very hands on with your car since it will void your warranty. Engine management is the biggest problem with the Greddy and has cost a few people their motors. So you will want to read the last thread about the Interceptor X for engine management. I do not have the Greddy but have read enough threads to know this upgrade if far from a bolt on. The threads below should be of interest to you.

I would order the Greddy oil pan to keep your temps hopefully a little cooler! Adds about 1 quart more oil to the system. Always good for FI.

Hope you enjoy your turbo kit!

At a minimum order a WB02 and some way to log this data along with RPM and boost. I like the Innovate LC-1 and the Profec e-01 to log the data. You need to have this diagnostic capability - period.

I tried the GReddy option but wasnt too pleased so I heard of this guy in Miami that is a Rotary Guru by the name of Carlos Lopez or CLR Motorsports. He built me a 13B Wankel motor with a T70 Garrett turbo with plenty of Ghutzpah ! You could read up on him on RX Tuner Magazine... I think you should give him a try before you do the GReddy kit... his number is 305-235-3696
