9am.. damn thats early as hell... what time will we need to leave jax?

 

To get to Otown from Jax we will need to leave at 630 or so. Maybe we could meet somewhere for breakfast? Or I would be up for leaving the night before, I have some friends down there to stay with.......

We'll be there all day so 9 am is tentative. The dyno guys will have to get there early to begin tuning so everyone has time.

ok i would imagine 10am would be better suited for the jax, s.ga, sc, and panhandle fellas who plan on caravaning down.. gives gville and daytona some extra time to get ready as well. So jax can prolly leave around 7-7:30am. How long do you think this meet will last? Will be doing some cruising around Orlando as well after Titan closes its doors?

 

Ok i think the Jax-Gville-Daytona caravan will prolly arrive at 10am. Since they will be there all Day. I'm hoping to do some cruising around Orlando as well. So would it be safe to say Jax ppl should meet up somewhere around 7AM? Maybe Dave and Buster's. I'll be getting up early as hell to drive out to LeAnns and back again

It usually take about 1-1.5 hours to get to Daytona and traffic should be light so i guess we can prolly meet you Daytona and Gville people off an exit on I4? Since you guys live down there is there a good exit to meet off of and get gas? So we would prolly be meeting you around 8:30-9...

Oh, man...the mention of the jax/gville/daytona caravan made me think of how cool it would be when all of us are together. We can cruise the streets in a caravan of 20+ 7s n 8s. How bad *** is that? I'd love to get that on film.. Hope some of you guys have digi cams.

I'd imagine the g-ville crew would be taking 75 to the turnpike, and the jax crew down 95 to 4.

 

Yeah some video would be nice, I'll see if any of my buds that wanna film some cool **** wanna come and man the camera. Im so hyped for this !! woohoo BTW finally ordered my RB exhaust, YAY!!

 

I think my film crew is coming down...so getting it on tape won't be a problem. I still haven't heard back from titan, but i was sick today, so i haven't done much of anything. Tomrrow for sure will be the final post on everything, then directions and then we just wait for the meet...yay!

OK I think its a good plan for the Jax people to meet up at Dave and Busters at 7AM we could grab some breakfast quick somewhere and head down. Then meet the Daytona people when we go by about 8:30. That would put us down there by 10.

The caravan and cruising is a great idea. I have some video that we shot last year on our way to CougarFest (with the Cougar club) of 20 cars caravaning on the highway, we all had 2 way radios and we organized some AWESOME video shots. Like someone driving by all the cars and getting each and every car as they go by in the lane beside the caravan. Also finding a curvy road is a good place for some GREAT shots.. Having someone wait by the on ramp of an interstate while everyone turns to get on is a great shot too. I wil have my Girlfriend with me, she is a media production major and has all of her own equipment. She will be brining it and she is experienced because she has taken a lot of the shots from the Cougar club.

Sounds like this is going to be NICE!!

Everyone should definitly find a 2 way radio, it makes things very easy and they are no more than $15 for 2 at Radio Shack.

I think my friend with his EvoVIII and his brother with a GST is coming too. They live in o-town and know some insane roads! I figure we can have lots of fun...we'll start finalizing everything as it gets closer....also, I'll stand up on something an announce stuff as the day goes on about what we're doing...Now i just have to find something that makes me taller than 5'7 to stand on...hehe

The two way radios is a great idea...my whole group has radios and we usually crusie and they're a HUGE help! esp. with cops!! I second that everybody invenst in one. If you want, make a deal with somebody and then split the cost...you do only need one...

So is gville taking another route and jax will just meet up with daytona i guess. From what ive been gathering.. Daytona/Jax will meet up on the Ormond Beach exit or something for gas because it is supposed to be cheaper? I'll put final details when i get a confirmation from some Daytona people.

can't wait for this meet. Would prolly want jax ppl at the D&B by 6:45 so we can leave at 7... i'd eat before i came but if we all wanna go to eat together thats fine too.

 

G'ville peeps! I figure, we need to leave here by 8. We should meet up at the citgo station by the williston exit!! Gas there *for 93* is only like 185 or something like that on the weekends. We may as well take advantage of this...then get on the road.

Lets met up at say 745 then head down by 8.

Eddie: Please post this on the RX7 forums, and also, are you going down with us or the jax guys??

 

In case anybody wants to know...THe actually meet is being called, "Now and Then Rotary Meet" b/c it's got the rx7's and the 8's...it will make more since once you guys see the shirts..
